The Woodlawn Woodchucks just couldn't quite break the Austin Dams. It may have been the closest game for the Woodchucks all season. The final score, 35-27 doesn't show how close this game was. Both teams played well and the Chucks looked like a true team last night. Tehy showcased flashy passes and snatched down a ton of rebounds. This effort just wasn't enouh.
This game was sure to be the bloodiest game of the season, The Chucks' Colin Mahon took two incredibly hard falls and lost nearly a pint of blood. After ten minutes in the Furman Garden's medical center he came back to the court and managed to pull down an astonishing 9 rebounds.
