It was a true battle at the Garden today to kick off the regular season extravaganza. Although the score was separated by 6 points it seemed closer watching from the stands (which were filled to capacity of about 16 people. It was a low scoring affair-- a superb defensive battle-- that would entertain those that could keep their eyes open throughout the whole thing. Yet I digress. Jake Lincoln of the 28ers was the MVP of the preseason and he attempted to defend his title, but it wouldn't be without opposition. Scott Furman had a good defensive game while Aaron VanSickles dominated the boards. All in all, it was a great way to kick off the season, and we hope to see more great games in the future!
